The Value of Volunteers
Each year volunteers contribute countless hours to the successful management of the Honolulu Academy of Arts. It is their interest, enthusiasm, and participation that enables the Academy to fulfill its commitment to the community of Honolulu and the State of Hawaii.
"We couldn't run this museum without them," says Interim Director Lynne Johnson. "There is no way we could pay for the number of hired professional people who generously give their time to the Academy and make it work as well as it does."
