
ShakaNet WiFi at the Academy
ShakaNet, Inc., a Hawai‘i public Internet service provider company, is providing the Honolulu Academy of Arts with wireless Internet access.
Visitors with laptops capable of 802.11b/g Wi-Fi will be able to connect to the Internet.
The service is free to Academy visitors. Wireless Internet is already available in the Luce Pavilion courtyard and the Robert Allerton Art Research Library.
ShakaNet is an Internet Company started by Meeta and Nam Vu in May 2002. ShakaNet provides Internet Wi-Fi Hotspots at the Honolulu International Airport and throughout Waikiki. For more information on ShakaNet hotspots, go to
