Spend an evening in the Big Easy
at Showcase 2008: Bon Temps!

This year, the Academy's annual summer celebration of food and wine, Showcase 2008: Bon Temps!, takes place on Sunday, August 17. The event heads south for an evening in the bayou. Tireless volunteers will dramatically transform the Academy into old Louisiana, a festive, yet moody, backdrop to the food by top Hawaii restaurants and caterers and some of the best boutique wines from California and Europe.
Chefs such as Ronnie Nasuti of Roy's and Kevin Hanney of 12th Avenue Grill will cook their interpretations of Creole and Cajun cuisine. Pair your jamabalaya and crawfish with rare, top-tier wines, many of them presented by the actual winemakers.
Premium tables, which include catered service and the best wines, are available for $5,000. A limited amount of reserved seating is available for $150. Tickets are $85 per person.
The best part about Showcase? Taking part in the fun helps bring art to Hawaii's youth by funding the Academy's art education programs.
