Admission
$10 General
$5 Seniors (62+)/Students (12+)/Military (with I.D.)
Free for all Honolulu Academy of Arts members, children 12 and under accompanied by an adult and Hawaii-based teachers. Out-of-state teachers may enter for a discounted rate of $5. (Must show school I.D. or union card at Front Desk.)
Free days
• Bank of Hawaii Sundays: Third Sunday of the month, 11 am-5 pm.
• First Wednesday of every month.
• Military appreciation day: First Sunday of every month free for military personnel and their families. Must show I.D.
Entry to the Academy Shop, the Pavilion Cafe and The Robert Atherton Library is free.

Checkroom
All bags are subject to security inspection. All bags, parcels and umbrellas larger than 11 x 15 must be checked in the free self-lock lockers in the checkroom. The museum is not responsible for items held in the checkroom.
Cameras
No photography in the galleries. No flash or tripods allowed in the museum. Videotaping is permitted in the courtyards only. No photographs or videotapes may be reproduced, distributed or sold without permission from the Academy.
Outside food, smoking, cell phones
Outside food/drinks and smoking are not permitted in the museum. Cell phone use is not permitted in the galleries or theatre.

Parking
The Honolulu Academy of Arts maintains two parking lots.
• Art Center lot: Mon–Sat 7 am–11 pm, Sun 10 am–6 pm
The fee is $3 for every 4 hours with validation until 4pm, and $4 flat rate from 4pm until closing. Parking during member openings is free.
• 1035 Kinau Street Lot: (Diamond Head of the Admiral Thomas building) This lot is closed to the public during regular museum hours but is open and free on weekends and from 4:30 to 11pm during the week.
The Art Center and Kinau Street lots are controlled by Diamond Parking, Inc.
Wheelchairs and handicap parking are available at the museum's entrance gates on Ward Avenue and Victoria Streets.

Getting to the Academy: |

Bus: From Waikiki, take the #2 from Kuhio Ave. towards downtown, approximately 20 minutes. Stops directly in front of the Academy.
The Academy is on the following bus lines; 1, 2, 13, B and 1L.

Trolley: Take the Waikiki Trolley from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. We are reachable by the Red Line trolley.
Car: On the H-1 freeway from Waikiki, take the Lunalilo St. exit and make a left at Ward Ave, and another left on Kinau Street. From downtown or the airport, take the Lusitana exit to Kinau Street.

Tours
Audio tour: The Academy's audio tour is now available online in English and Japanese. Click here to listen to the tour or to download a podcast.
Guided tours of the collection are offered for Tues-Sat at 10:15 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and Sun at 1:15 pm. These tours are free with the purchase of admission
Japanese language tours are offered Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 1 pm
