HCH leader Sonny Silva calls this show a “Gypsy jazz operetta”—it has a story line in three acts with gangsters, booze, love and gypsies set to the band’s signature Django Reinhardt-inspired sound. It’s an ambitious production that will probably have people dancing in the aisles (judging from their sold-out show last year). The playlist includes Round Midnight and the Reinhardt classic Nuages.
