The Honolulu Academy of Arts presents two free public screenings of two episodes from the new season of the PBS series Art:21—Art in the 21st Century.
    The screenings are part of Art21 Access ’09, an international screening initiative that provides opportunities to increase knowledge of contemporary art, ignite dialogue, and inspire creative thinking through hundreds of public screenings and events across the country celebrating the premiere of the fifth season of the Peabody Award-winning television series. Other O'ahu venues taking part in the initiative are ARTS at Marks Garage and The Contemporary Museum.

Oct 26: Episode 2: Transformation

Nov 9: Episode 3: Fantasy
Featuring Cao Fei, Mary Heilmann, Jeff Koons, Florian Maier-Aichen 

Screenings: 6pm in the Art Center Community Room in the Academy Art Center at Linekona, Victoria Street between Beretania and Young streets.
