It’s Bank of Hawaii Family Sundays!
The Honolulu Academy of Arts’ Free Sunday program sponsored by Bank of Hawaii continues monthly throughout 2009.When: Third Sunday of every month, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: Bank of Hawaii Family Sundays feature entertainment and activities suitable for families and people of all ages. The goal is to provide new and interesting ways to explore the Academy’s galleries through gallery scavenger hunts, art activities, demonstrations, film screenings and entertainment. Themes change monthly and tie in with the Academy’s permanent collections and special exhibitions.
Refreshments: The Pavilion Cafe turns into a snack bar for Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday. Menu changes monthly, and may include kid favorites such as grilled 1/4-pound all-beef hot dogs and sloppy joes. Open noon-3:00pm.

December 20: Keiki Christmas
Let the Oahu Civic Orchestra help put you in the Christmas spirit with some of their favorite selections. Enjoy Elfie's hilarious Creatively Christmas Show as well as an energetic holiday gymnastics exhibition by the Hawaiian Island Twisters. Then get up and move with Muve, using dance-inspired aerobic moves. Creatively Christmas! show at noon, 12:30, 1:30, 2, and 2:30 pm. Tickets can be picked up the same day at the museum's front desk.
