Participate in the performative process with Biennial of Hawai‘i Artists X artist Mary Babcock. You can help her wrap pieces of barbed wire in raw silk threads taken from cocoons—which will become part of her installation. Babcock, a textile and performance artist, writes that the actions are “contemplations on the silkworm’s self-entwining, at once protective, aggressive and self-suffocating.” To reserve a spot, call 237-5217
