Set in Auckland, The Insatiable Moon is a touching urban fairy tale about Arthur (played by Whale Rider star Rawiri Paratene), a recovering psychiatric patient who joins a battle to prevent the closure of his local homeless shelter. Joined by his sheltermates, a lonely social worker, a hapless vicar and his landlord, Arthur brings hope and humor to conflict, changing things in ways noone could have predicted.
