Until he was forced to resign on Feb. 7, Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed fought for the survival of his country. Climate change threatens to raise sea levels that would swallow the lowest-lying country in the world. Featuring stunning cinematography and music by Radiohead, the film follows Nasheed as he lobbied countries to help save his homeland.
Winner: Toronto International Film Festival People’s Choice Documentary Award.
