Young Artist: Ceramics

Registration for the summer term begins April 10.

Tues–Fri / June 12–July 18 (no class July 4) / 21 sessions / $275 ($265 for members) per course / Fee includes supplies 

• Applicants should register for the grade just completed in school
• All classes subdivided by grade level
• Children must be at least five years old and in kindergarten to enroll in classes
• Museum tours and films are an integral part of the Honolulu Museum of Art School’s Young Artist programming
• All supplies are included in class tuition
• Some art processes can get messy—although aprons are provided, please wear proper attire
• Footwear is required (slippers are acceptable)
• No refunds after first class
• Young Artist Summer Exhibition July 22–Aug 5
Opening reception: Sat / July 21 / 2–4pm


Thanks to the generosity of several donors, the school offers a limited number of scholarships for Young Artist classes. Recipients are selected based on talent and need. Deadline for applications is May 11. Call for applications and more information at 808 532 8709.
